Give yourself a break!

· These are such challenging times during lockdown

. Just because you are having an indulge now doesn’t mean you always will.


· We are all having good days and bad, which includes the choices we make around food. If you fancy having a treat then allow yourself to and enjoy it. Just be aware of how it is making you feel, and how your body is responding. Food, as with everything affects us all in different ways. Listen to your body and recognise what works for you.


For example even a small reduction in your daily caffeine consumption can cause headaches or migraines. If you're trying cut down listen to your body and take it slow; your body will soon adjust.


· If you set a goal and don’t stick to it then don’t give up or feel guilty, it's all part of the journey of change. Reflect on why it may not have worked and make a tweak or just try again.


· Be kind to yourself!
